Web Casino Sucker Bets — Part 2
June 24th, 2017 by Kristen
  • Progressive side bets: Casino games such as Caribbean Stud Poker regularly have one of these. You generally put a wager (a dollar is the normal value) to attempt to win a bonus jackpot that could reach $25,000. Although huge jackpots like these are very tempting, they’re also particularly complicated to succeed. You might have to get a Royal Flush in order to win this wager. Also, imagine this- you play twenty hands and lay the side wager each time. That’s $20 you could have used towards the actual game wager instead of a sucker bet. Just think about what you might have been able to win at a bet with better odds using that 20 dollars.
  • Single number bets in Roulette: This is completely true for American Roulette. Why? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has only 1. This takes the complete casino edge from 2.63% with one zero wheel to a huge 5percent in American. The single number wager has just a 1 in 38 chance of succeeding, which are very long odds indeed. Bet on even-odd or black-red wagers instead which have a much smaller casino advantage.
  • Keno: Any variation of Keno, and regardless of how you wager on it, the house advantage can be a whopping twenty-five percent. No, that isn’t a typo. Because of the huge set of numbers you have to select, it isn’t recommended to bet on Keno very much. A couple of times for entertainment, maybe. But do not waste all your money on it or you’ll quickly discover yourself bankrupt.
